*8.30am: Left house and walked to Marsiling MRT station. Why this station? Coz it's the nearest station la...
9.30am: Reached Lavender MRT station and that is where ICA building is located at lor...and YES, the train trip damn long!an hour....
9.50am: Got my queue no. through the Self Service Kiosk Machine. Very efficient ya, just need to scan the bar code on the PR approval letter.
9:53am: Queue no. appeared with my e-booking appointment time, 11.00am. What is e-booking? YES!another advancement...Applicant can actually logon to ICA website and select available appointment time before proceed to ICA. The main purpose supposed to get the applicant to come at their appointment time to avoid unnecessary waiting time.
10.40am: Ding dong!YES!Finally it was my turn. Submitted all the required documentation and not to forget, payment of $150 for entry and re-entry permit!OMG...still need to queue for my turn to make IC!I thought it was done!

12.30pm: Walked over to the counter and asked when will be my turn, I've been waiting for more than an hour already. The lady just asked me to wait...okay lor...wait...

2.45pm: Really couldn't take it anymore!What's the use of the e-booking appointment if I still need to wait for sooooOOOOoo long??!Damn it!Went to the counter and rush the person in charge.
3.00pm: Finally it was my turn, oh gosh! Took a fast 15 mins for thumb print, choose chinese name and another $50 payment for the IC. Total spent for the day = $200..sob sob...
3.15pm: Ran down to the cab area, fetch a cab and rush the uncle to drive as fast as possible back to Jurong East, my office lar! And the uncle very keng, said will reach in 15 mins really reached in 15 mins! Luckily I managed to arrive in time for team KPI meeting with my GM! Phew....
It was really a tiring and suffocating day! Nearly throw tantrum but don't know where and who to throw at. Haha...!*

*WoHooo....my PR application has been approved!Received my letter from ICA today! o(^^)o.It only took less than a month for my application to be approved. So happy, yay!But still need to complete the formalities before getting confirmation on my PR status, need to do IC also!*
